European Asset Value Fund - General Risk Factors
The European Asset Value Fund is an open-ended investment company incorporated with limited liability under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and organised as a société d'investissement à capital variable (a "SICAV") with UCITS status (an undertaking for Collective Investment in Transferrable Securities as defined in the European Directive 85/611 of 20 December 1985). The Fund is recognised for sale in the United Kingdom, Belgium and Luxembourg.
All or most of the protections provided by the UK regulatory system do not apply and compensation under the UK compensation scheme may not be available.
Subscriptions may only be made on the basis of the relevant prospectus and most recent financial statement and semi-annual financial statements published thereafter. These can be obtained from AVI at the above address.

Stock markets and currency movements may cause the value of investments and income from them to fall as well as rise and investors may not get back the amount they originally invested.
